Driving Days at Elvington Park

On the site of an old RAF base, the runway at Elvington Park has historically been used in attempts to set land speed records (and recently as well, by BBC Top Gear's Richard Hammond).

Nowadays it hosts both motorbike and car races and is a major venue for driving experience days.
